My Philosophy

Honesty. Education. Empowerment. And a bit of a laugh....

We all have a relationship with food and exercise. It can be enjoyable, fulfilling, crippling, damaging, toxic, and complex, all in the space of the same day.

My philosophy around staying training and nutrition puts your needs first. I firmly believe that the only way we can grow is my learning a little more about ourselves each day.

The way we train and nourish ourselves are no different.

If you've never found a regular training regime or diet that works for you, this is your time to STOP trying to fit someone else's mould. You are an individual and I aim to treat you as one. 

Training can be fun.

Eating can be enjoyable.

My style of coaching allows you to feel in control, learning more about your body, habits, and how you can maintain a healthy lifestyle and still enjoy your life.

Plus, we'll have a lot of fun along the way.

Personal Training

Getting you stronger and adding years to your life!

If you're local to Bishop's Stortford, I offer Personal Training sessions at Koru Gym. My goal for my clients is that they leave feeling strong and in charge of their own body, having had some fun and learnt something new. My sessions are progressive and varied, so you can feel (and see) the results. I cater our sessions to what you want to achieve, along with your likes and dislikes. Always supportive and encouraging, you'll always leave with a smile on your face.


I have been training with Amy for a couple of months now and I am so pleased that I bit the bullet and signed up - I absolutely love it! It makes my Monday!

Amy communicates what you are doing, why you’re doing it and what the results will be. Her programme is totally tailored to your individual needs and she takes your thoughts and preferences into consideration.

I have already noticed physical results and most importantly I always leave the session feeling good about myself.

Having worked with Amy for a few months on my nutrition and knowing I was giving my body the fuel it needed to perform, I asked her to put a programme together for me. It is really underestimated how having no structure to your programming can really hold your progress back and I knew she was the right person to asking her to be accountable to for my training.

After a consultation to establish my goals and areas of focus, Amy gave me an interesting and engaging programme that gradually increased in intensity over a period of 12 weeks and I loved every second of it!
